I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday season this year, and that you were spared any significant damage in the earthquake. If you’re like me, we have a lot to be thankful for this year… but also, a lot of things that need to be done.
[IMPORTANT note: the following IS NOT a fundraiser. We’re not asking for anything, except to see you at our gathering!]
Along those lines, I am going to host a gathering (not a fundraiser!) of District 21 Democrats at my home on January 2, 2019 at 5:30 PM. We will have some snacks and refreshments, and it will give us an opportunity to talk about what to expect in the coming year (or two, leading up to the election in 2020). We will have a couple of guest speakers, both of whom are our neighbors – Matt Claman, our representative in Juneau, will talk about the upcoming legislative session, and Jay Parmley, the Executive Director of the Alaska Democratic Party, will be here to talk about things that the party is doing, and plans to do in the near future.
We will also have some District 21 business to conduct, so please come and share your opinions and visions for Democrats in West Anchorage.
So, where is “my home” you ask? It is at 3136 W. 64th Avenue, just south and west of Connor Bog. If you get there early, you can park in my driveway… but you might get parked-in.
