With all of the chaos at the caucus back in March, there was some unfinished business… and the last of it is related to whether our district has items to submit to the Platform Committee at the State Convention. There are several platform plank proposals, and we would like to discuss them so that we can decide whether to submit them to the convention.
We’re having a meeting to do just that! The meeting will be on Monday, May 9 at 6 PM at the Alaska Democratic Party Headquarters 2602 Fairbanks St, Anchorage, AK 99503.
This will be an opportunity for you to express your opinion about the proposed changes to the party platform, and also to bring your own proposals to the table. If you have a proposal to make, you should prepare it on the platform plank document, which you can download here.
